Choosing the ideal car companies for your circumstances is a nightmare. As with most popular topics, it is often hard to sort through the dozens of spam "best quote" websites to find the best for you. After spending considerable time weeding through the mess, I am glad to tell you the top three resources for top car companies quotes. Mind you, this is only my own opinion, but others are sure to agree.

1. Progressive.com

Progressive has been advertising a service to show their rates alongside others. I have seen more advertising lately for Progressive than all other car companies. I finally decided to check out their instant service. Although other people have found their very helpful, it was not working the day I attempted and all I got were their quotes. With that being said, it was a very simple interface that I was able to complete in minutes.

2. Insure.com

Insure is a very popular place that provides rates for all kinds of insurance. They have services for travel, health, life, etc. One thing I always check out is whether they recognize my zip code. My zip code was new about 4 years ago, and it is annoying how many sites still say it is wrong. Sadly, Insure is one of those



sites. Even though it really gets to me when they don't have my zip code, this is still a site you should try when shopping for car for your family.

3. CarInsurance.com

This last site I found has the cleanest interface. And guess what. They recognized my new North Carolina zip code! One thing to keep in mind is that apparently they don't perform these car companies reviews themselves. After the first screen I was taken to a screen to click to other companies serving my area. I chose NetQuote.com to conduct my search.

Realize that these sites doing comparisons of car companies have their own agenda to make money before their desire to save you money. You must shop around even among the above and other sites to receive the most savings.
